My Company CO with Delta Co., 1st Recon Bn, USMC in Viet-Nam was 1st Lt. Jerry Spolter.

This colt is sired by TP King Bear (AQHA 4416637) and his dam is Tomeys Sister (AQHA 2514982). TP King Bear is still standing at the "Pines" but we sold Tomey two years ago.

Lt. Spolter heads or heels, but I favor him on the heeling side. He has plenty of  "Cow Work" in the arena and in the pasture. Brush popping does not shake him.

Confederate Grey has been nicknamed "Freckles II" who was a ranch favorite for a number of years.  He has had a great deal of cattle work and has been team roped on both sides.  Super nice horse.

This gelding has so much "Cow Breeding", I thought about putting him on our Corriente page. His sire TP King Bear is by Sun Fritz by King Fritz; and his dam is by Pancho San Bar by Peppy San. He is riding great outside and in the arena.

LCPL Billy Spencer

2008 APHA

LCPL Billy Spencer foaled on May 10, 2008. This beautiful gelding has had 90 days under saddle at this writing (August 21, 2010) and is doing great.  He is being ridden in the arena and around the ranch.  His sire, TP King Bear is noted for putting good minds and bodies on his foals.

Billy is named after USMC LCPL Billy Spencer, a Tennessean who gave his life in Afghanistan attempting to save a fellow Marine's life.  He was awarded the Silver Star. Click on News to see photos of Charlie with David and Dawn Spencer (parents of our Marine hero) and his namesake colt.

Doc Willis

2008 AQHA

Doc Willis foaled on April 22, 2008 and has a great deal of ground work.  He is named after Doc John Harlan Willis from Columbia, Tennessee who earned the Congressional Medal of Honor on Iwo Jima during World War II and is one of our heroes.

This gelding is doing great with 90 days under saddle at this writing (August 21, 2010), he is very intelligent and athletic.  He is bred to work cattle with King Fritz, Peponita, and other cutting horse greats in his lineage.
