Pokey Hunt Us1995 AQHA in foal to Cherokee Showdown Pokey Hunt Us foaled on April 30, 2010 at the Pines. Her sire Pancho San Bar was an own son of Peppy San out of an own daughter of Doc Bar and her mother was Wild and Waspy by Wild Wasp by Gay Bar King out of Ann Parsons by JB King; two of the greatest horses to call Twin Pines home. I sold her as a yearling and was lucky enough to trade back for her this year from our friends Jerry and Bert Mansfield. At this entry she is in foal to TP King Bear. She is a beautiful sorrel mare, broke the best, and the image of her mother. Note: The black mare in the photo is Ms. Paseos Country with her filly by our stallion Cherokee Showdown. We sold Ms. Paseos Country and her filly to a family in Massachusetts in May. |

Maxs Charmin Attitude2001 APHA in foal to TP King Bear Maxs Charmin Attitude has had some saddle time prior to us getting her. She was bred to TP King Bear, our primary stallion this year. He passed away this year at the age of 28. We are extremely pleased with a 2 year old by TP King Bear and Maxie; LCPL Billy Spencer who started under saddle last week. She has a great disposition and is a pleasure to be around. |

Brenda Lee2006 APHA in foal to Cherokee Showdown Brenda Lee foaled on April 4, 2006 and is by TP King Bear and out of Bright Sham, one of our best APHA mres. She had this foal three days ago from this entry. The filly is by Cherokee Showdown. Ms. Lee was in the studio with Charlie working on the Deuces album when her namesake was born. Twin Pines Brenda Lee has had 60 days of saddle time and is a pleasure to be around. |
Dolly Parton2007 APHA Dolly Parton foaled on April 21, 2007. Ms. Parton was in the studio with Charlie recording a song for the CDB Deuces album when her namesake, TP Dolly Parton foaled at the Pines. This filly has had 90 days of cutting training and is a real athlete. With TP King Bear as a sire and Little Delta Roxie who is out of an own son of Delta Flyer as a mother, she couldn't help but be full of "cow". |

Rose and OakieThe sorrel filly is Twin Pines Rose and the Tobiano filly is Twin Pines Okie. The twins foaled on April 23, 2008. Their sire HLF Smokin Ace has cutting blood top and bottom. Their mother Ms. Passeos Country is a black AQHA mare. Their mother was sold with a black and white filly by her side to some folks in Massachusetts a week ago from this entry. The twins have been featured in numerous article and may very well be the best ground broke filies in the history of the Pines. |

D Anne2008 APHA D Anne foaled on April 29, 2008 and is by HLF Smokin Ace and Tennessee Waspy Bear who was by TP King Bear and Wild and Waspy. The breeding doesn't get any better. At this entry she has had a great deal of ground work and is getting ready for some saddle time. A beautiful Tobiano who is a real pet. |
