What's New at The Pines!

LCPL Billy Spencer was killed in Iraq while attempting to save a fellow Marine. He was later awarded the Silver Star posthmously. His mother and dad visited the ranch on their way to meet my grandson R.T.last year, but that's another neat story. While at the ranch, one of our newborn colts took up with Dave and Dawn Spencer and later we decided to name the colt LCPL Billy Spencer. Yesterday Dave and Dawn brought some of their extended Marine Family to the ranch to see Billy's namesake. Charlie happened to be home and came to the barn to personally show everyone the APHA colt, "LCPL Billy Spencer".
